Over the past 86 years Maxwell Groves has evolved from a small open-air fruit stand into a packinghouse with a country store that offers a sprawling front porch with orange rockers where customers relax, enjoy homemade orange ice cream and on some days, a cool breeze.
The Maxwell Legacy continues with a lifelong friendship and welcoming atmosphere!

We carry all varieties of fruit along with fresh-squeezed OJ, Florida wines, local honey, our famous dairy-free soft serve ice cream, gifts, jams & jellies. From the fresh juice made daily to the orange ice cream made with that same fresh juice, customers are welcome to browse our country store and ship fruit to loved ones in our authentic Old Florida setting.

We are known for our famous SOFT-SERVE, DAIRY- FREE, Orange Ice Cream!
Not for you? We also offer, creamsicle, lemonade, key-lime, and vanilla dairy-free soft serves!
AND for our Dairy-Lovers, we also carry 20 FLAVORS of Hershey's Ice Cream!!
Still a bit hesitant? You can ALWAYS ask for a sample of ice-cream to make sure you like what you buy ahead of time!

Want to pack your own citrus?
Perfect! We carry a variety of fruit throughout the season (October to May)
Just grab a bag from the BACK RIGHT CORNER of the Citrus Room and go to town!
Depending on the season, we carry: Ruby Red Grapefruit, Navels, Tangelos, Sunburst Tangerines, Honeybells, Temples, Honey Tangerines, and Valencias, etc.

How so? We receive citrus from LOCAL growers into our Packing-House! The fruit is then washed and brought into the store via the conveyor! Our employees then hand-pick the best quality fruit and take them upstairs to be juiced into our containers, and hand-placed labels are then applied! How cool is that?
